In 2002, my friends and I created a sketch comedy punk rock band called Just Enough Yellow. Just Enough Yellow mocked the suburban generation and our music represented the frustration of youth trapped in suburbia. We played live shows as the Just Enough Yellow characters and never told the audience that the performance was an act. I played the arrogant British lead singer, Ewan McEwan.

We recorded and mixed “Piss Off You Wankers” ourselves in a random basement on a 16 track recorder. We had limited time to record the album so we took the first takes on all the songs. “Piss Off You Wankers” turned out awesome for only one take and none of us knowing how to mix audio levels. I think it makes it more punk. Below are Just Enough Yellow’s audio tracks from their album, “Piss Off You Wankers”. My favorite song is “Robot 11″.

1. “Calling to Suburbia”

2. “Mr. Yellow”

3. “Lights, Camera, Electric”

4. “Vic’s Song”

5. “Robot 11″

Bonus Track “Waiting for Bunch” Unplugged
